As our Performance Marketing Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the creation, implementation, and ongoing optimization of performance marketing campaigns such as SEO and Web analytics strategies, Baidu SEM, Programmatic/DSP projects and other paid channels (media & influencers).

This role encompasses managing client’s ad budget in these programs with strategic and analytical data-driven approach. Making recommendation of content development, and website / Landing pages enhancements to increase rankings, traffic, and conversion. You will also play a vital role in creating and implementing tracking codes from analytics platforms such as Google and Baidu Analytics and analyzing Web data that contributes to the success of our client’s campaigns.

In-depth Technical SEO experience is a major plus, but you should be extremely comfortable performing crawls, taking care of Search Console, and working with development teams to ensure that our clients’ websites are optimized, fast, and healthy.

In addition to developing and executing the projects, the person will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the performance and modifying the strategy as needed to maximize ROI.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with delegated accounts, be the client’s main contact and go-to person for any assigned projects
• Communicate to internal and external team, and management on strategy/project development, timelines, and results
• Define requirements and tasks, and execute implementation of SEM, SEO, Programmatic ads, Tencent Ads strategies with a team of search and media specialists
• Monitor and evaluate results and performance, produce insightful periodical reports for clients by managing analytics systems, including Google/Baidu Analytics and Google Tag Manager, Ad platform dashboards etc.
• Act as our representative for business development and ensure that project team is running smoothly
• Devise appropriate and effective systems/approaches for data collection

• Keep pace with new marketing industry trends and latest developments

• Job will be based in Shanghai City, may require business trips to potentially other cities in China
• Job will require you to be in contact with our clients for projects follow-up / up-sale
• Job will require precise reporting on the project performances

Key skills and experience

• Bachelor Degree or above
• Minimum 3 solid years experience in digital performance marketing or related, in-house or agency.
• Deep knowledge of SEO and SEM especially in Baidu is required
• Experience with Tencent Ads (Guangdiantong) and Programmatic/DSP is a big plus
• Experience with EC platforms like Tmall/JD/WeChat store a big plus
• Ability to foster strong relationships at all levels
• Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere
• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills
• Great team player with positive attitude
• Ability to foster strong relationships at all levels
• High proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin is a must
